CWO Football Concessions Fundraiser Event

Reminder: CWO Football Concessions Fundraiser Event [Friday, October 2, 2015]

Columbus Wrestling Organization has one of our annual fundraising events this coming Friday night (10/2/15) at the Columbus High School football game.  For the fundraising, our organization is responsible for staffing the home and visitor side concession stands during the football game.  This has been a great way for us to get public exposure about our organization while earning some money to offset our program costs.

We need 16-20 parents willing to volunteer their time from 5:45 p.m. to the end of the game (approx 9:30 p.m.).  We also need 4 parents willing to come earlier (by 5 p.m.) to help get the concession stands set up and start getting hot foods ready.  We have plenty for everyone to do from popping popcorn, fixing hotdogs, nacho cheese, pizza & hot chocolate and most importantly working the concessions window to take orders.  The concessions can be very busy during the game especially at half-time so we need to make sure we are fully staffed.  If you are only able to help for a short period of time, that is okay too.  We will use you to fill in where needed, especially during half-time of the game.

Please let Coach Brownlow know via email (columbuswrestlingorg@gmail.com) or by calling and/or texting him at 402-910-8749 and letting him know of your availability to help.  We need to know as soon as possible so we can make sure we have enough volunteers and we don’t have to spend a lot of time calling parents asking for help.  The more people we get to help, the less work it will be for each of us involved.
